Contemplation
I think a change is needed. I've been volleying back and forth on this one for awhile now, and am not quite sure what to do... with my hair.
I've pretty much had the same hairstyle now for about 4 years. The length has gone up and inch, and down an inch, the side swept bangs have been a little shorter and a little longer, but pretty much THE SAME.
See? Me at my 30th Birthday party
hi, Carrie!
Halloween 2005
May 2006
December 2006
May 2007
and last but not least, May 2008......
Blah. I could even go back further, but that would require me scanning old photos from before I had my handy dandy flickr account.
Am I boring? Am I in a hair rut? I keep wanting to do something different, but at the same time, afraid too.
Am I just hiding behind my hair? Or if "it ain't broke don't fix it"? Do you think it's time for a change? Or will it just make me cry?

That hairstyle really DOES work for you. I think you would look really cute with a stacked a-line bob too though. It took me a few years but I actually chopped mine and loved it!
Your tweet sent me over. I say, life is short. Cut the hair.
I say cut it! It's just hair and it will grow back. You'll never know until you try. And take baby steps - go for maybe 2-3 inches and see how you feel. xoxo
Chop it -- hair is the ultimate accessory since it always grows back. I could see you in a stacked chin-length bob, longer in front. Keep your long bangs, it'll make the change less drastic.
I've been in a hair rut since... HIGH SCHOOL. I kid you know. Oh sure, it's been 3-4 inches shorter and 3-6 inches longer. I've had short bangs and once no bangs. But mostly it's bra strap length with long bangs and long layers.
I am of the don't fix what ain't broken school. Once (you may remember my "david cassidy phase") when I cut it to above my chin, I broke down in horror. No no no no no. lol
er, that should say I kid you NOT.
I think I have the opposite issue! I think you could handle a couple of inches...baby steps....we're not talking a horrible soccer mom short haircut here.
the may 2008 is one of the best family pictures i have ever seen (truly). you can see true happiness in all your faces... well 'cept Zoe. She looks like she might be crappin' her diaper. Lol!!!!
