Talk me down
Where I really get into trouble with party planning is that I always feel the need to re decorate my entire house. Looking around, nothing looks good enough and I want to to change SOMETHING to make it all better. I've actually been very proud of myself with this party that I haven't gone house crazy...
But right now I'm sitting here thinking about how much nicer my dessert table will be on a new Parson's dining room table and how much happier this dining room table will make my life:
Yes, I know I have a table cloth that's going OVER my dining room table for the party. Yes, I know no one will even SEE my dining room table. It doesn't stop me from thinking this table will make my party THAT much more fun. Crazy is as Crazy does. Maybe I just need to go stare at my new clutch some more.

Sounds like many people use comfort foods to get through stress, you are doing it with comfort shopping. Guess it depends on what you are really trying to make "feel better" by purchasing a new table... and whether or not it will really help in the end, or if much like the comfort eater that regrets eating those fattening foods later, if you will come to regret the purchase as not really needed.
Oh, and BTW... Happy Birthday. :-)
i totally comfort shop! And Stress Shop! :)
