She's Crafty

Because I'm insane, and have a slight spending problem at the Paper Source that I need to *justify*, I decided to make Valentine's Day cards this year.

We made 21 of them for the kids in Lucas' class (which he informed me today, there are 2 new kids, and I am out of supplies)...

So, have you ever done crafts with an (almost) 5 year old boy? Yea, not as picturesque as it may first seem to be.

Since when I "craft" (hahaha.) I take out my box and spread it all over, I have to do it all at once. Also, when the creativity bug bites me, I need to go with it.. and I get a little obsessive and have to do it all AT ONCE.

Jason was the big helper by making me the beautiful pomegranite martini to "aid with the creativity"..

i *heart* paper source! i sort of made valentine's cards for nanea this year. it involved a template that i bought on etsy, printed, and then had her color for her friends (which are the neighborhood kids since she doesn't start school until the fall). she insisted on cards, so this was as creative as i could get :).

I'd need a bigger drink than that to do crafts. I am totally craft challenged!
Guess what? Anneliese is in Heat! We leave on Friday for Germany!!!

Those are GREAT Beth - I love them!! Totally impressive! I think I need to add a martini to my craft sessions too, I'd be WAY more productive.

Ha! Saw your tweet and clicked and my dining room table looks exactly the same! Was Valentine crafting with a 13 year old that I mentor and a friend with her almost 2 year old. aper, scraps, glitter and glue bits galore! My husband is such a trooper for living with my nonsense. And Paper Source is such a bad habit of mine!
