ONE

Yesterday, my baby turned one.

An entire year of crying and laughing, diapers and girly clothes, milestones, teeth and all the other joys that come with having a baby.

We survived, we survived our first year of 2 kids, of having a baby and a preschooler.. and we are all still alive and well. And because of that, a party was needed.

Happy Birthday Zoe! Your mommy and I are thinking alike because I was thinking of having a cupcake theme party for Makena too. Yes, it is very early, but in Hawaii first birthdays are bigger than weddings, so you have to plan ahead. Maybe you all can come to Hawaii in July for the party! Looks like you had a wonderful day, and I can't believe you are already 1!!!
